FAQs

What Does Off The Rack Mean

  • We sell all of our designer wedding dresses right off the rack, so there’s no long wait for your gown. You like it, try it on, LOVE it, and take it home the same day.  You get to see and feel YOUR exact dress, so you don’t have to worry about a dress coming in the wrong size or color or getting delayed. We buy our bridal gowns in bulk directly from the designers so we can sell our gowns at lower prices than other stores – up to 60% off retail prices! We like to keep a variety of gowns sizes  4-24 on hand for brides to try on. Our inventory and designer list is constantly changing.

Our Price Range and Refund Policy

  • Most of our bridal gowns are priced $500-$2,000  (occasionally a bit more), with the average around $1,300 At Birch Bridal we do not pressure buy and allow brides to take their time when purchasing.  All gowns are paid for in full at the time of purchase. We do offer AfterPay as a payment plan if you currently use this platform. All sales are final. We’re unable to issue refunds due to the uniqueness of each dress.

How Soon Should You Shop For a Gown

  • Most experts recommend you purchase your wedding gown about a year in advance. But not everyone has that much time! Birch Bridal is the perfect solution for all brides because we sell all of our designer wedding gowns off the rack, so whether you have one year or more or just one week before your wedding, we have the bridal gown for you!

Alterations and Cleanings

  • We do not offer in house alterations and cleanings. We do, however, recommend very talented seamstresses in the Omaha area. It is very common for bridal samples being sold off the rack to need alterations and cleanings. Very few times we see a bride to be will need no alterations. Most gowns have been tried on by other brides to be. With this may come minor makeup stains or other minor blemishes on gowns that can easily be cleaned. This is another reason why our designer gowns are marked down. We ask all brides to keep in mind cleaning and alterations to allow time for gowns to be ready for wear dates. Most common alterations seen are gowns needed to be taken in, straps tightened or added, and gowns raised to match bride’s height.      Trunk Shows

  • Trunk Show is a special event in which bridal shops collaborate with bridal gown designers to showcase a full collection of gowns. Usually trunk shows can last 1-3 weeks long depending on designer. This is a great opportunity for brides to try on and order gowns from this designer that are not normally available as we are an off the rack shop only. This also is a beautiful opportunity to view and purchase gowns that may not be offered in our state or country!  During the trunk show the bride will be offered a discount for saying yes day of, a gift, and/or other perks of the event, All gowns during this time will be ordered and each bride will sign a special order contract for their gown. The timeframe of each order will depend on each designer. All information will be given to brides before ordering.
